Some wanted me to let it out….

Well, the time has come.  And I believe there will be something for everyone.  Even some egg on my own face.
Here goes.
To Obama supporters: Seriously? Open your God-given eyes. Stop blaming Bush for everything. Cut the racist crap. Obama, as an Alinskyite Marxist, is absolutely fine with the deteriorating economy and swelling dependency. That is the PLAN. Read something – anything – about the 60s radicals that he is in tune with. And lastly, Romney is more like the Obama you thought you were voting for than Obama actually was.  Enough said.

To Partisan Republicans: You are as much to blame as Obama is for our national predicament. You play political games while standing for nothing but the R. You are frauds and owe a debt of gratitude to the tea partiers that you even still have a party left. You deserve to land in the dustbin of history for your lack of principle. There’s still time for that to happen, so enjoy this brief surge while you can.

To the Tea Party: you have brought much energy to the political process. You have made some waves. You have ignited an incredible surge in learning of the Founders and the early documents of this amazing government system. If Obama is removed from office on November 6th, you will have been instrumental in doing so. However, the partisanship you have embraced leads me to predict that a Romney presidency is the end of your effectiveness. Too many of your heroes are really enemies of the Constitution. I can name names, but I really don’t want to type out all 200 or so of them. And SHAME ON ANYONE for telling people that a vote on principle is throwing a vote away.

To my newfound libertarian friends – Big L and Small L alike. You are so right on so many things.  Most tea partiers owe you an apology. They called you (and I) names and berated the candidates closest to the Founders, those who stand for individual liberty. They ridiculed us for our principled stances. The result?  They got the candidate they least wanted. Go figure. But there are things we can work on ourselves. Like our presentation. Make points with logic and reason, not with names and derision. We all started somewhere.  Ignore the partisans, and bring along the truth seekers.  Get people to question what they believe.  Don’t fall into the trap of telling people what to think.

Now, for the infuriating and embarassing part. Yes, I’m embarrased and so angry I can hardly contain it. Tomorrow I will be a hypocrite. I will cast a vote that I said I would never cast again – that of voting for the lesser of two evils. I will cast a vote for two candidates that are okay with a kill list, erasing the 4th and 6th amendments, continuing to raise the debt ceiling and enslaving future generations, continuing wars we have no business fighting and more. I will cast a vote for Mitt Romney.  The reasons are simple: 1. Barack Obama is not one of us.  His Marxist worldview is incompatible with personal freedom and capitalism, the engine of freedom and prosperity throughout the ages. 2. It is obvious to a blind man that the Republicans in Congress are so inept and worthless that they will not stand against ANY end-run around Congress. We don’t even get feigned indignation out of them anymore.  It has come to the place where I must empower those unworthy of the power to remove a threat to my children’s future because they won’t.  Sickening.

So, to my libertarian, constitutionalist friends, I ask for your forgiveness. But, things being what they are, I am looking out for my kids’ future today. Fear not though. I will join you in making life miserable for those who have brought us seemingly right back where we were 3 years ago. I will fight side by side as you expose the corruption of the two-party system.

To my Tea Party friends, you have made your bed and you must lie in it.  I will add that I despise this feeling that I have to lie in it too. Prove me wrong.

To my friends that don’t give a rip about any of this and think I’m a blowhard, self-absorbed know-it-all who’s making much ado about nothing, you may be right, but history has proven that those who stand for nothing will fall for anything.

Hollow Shell of Our Fathers

As I sat awake at 2 AM checking the result of the Senate cloture vote on their version of health insurance “reform” (though I’m not sure anyone has actually seen it), I have to think back to my previous post, ‘Line in the Sand.’

It appears the best health care system will be solidly on that slippery slope toward government take-over and its impending mis-management and rationing as it occurs everywhere it exists. No one but those who now have to own this vote believe this will improve care, save money, prohibit paying for the killing of babies, and not cover illegals.  Some polls show well over 50% don’t trust Congress to make ANY changes and a CNN poll showed over 60% didn’t want this as proposed. I’m convinced that most of them know it’s a lie and the endgame is very much different than stated.

But that’s not all.  Despite the coolest summer in our history, thousands of emails exposing the attempts to exclude data that didn’t fit the agenda, thousands of scientists questioning that human activity is causing the earth to warm,  and amidst massive snowstorms in several parts of the globe, a world summit took place that was hell-bent on doing something about this supposed warming. 

Colored by rants from the likes of Hugo Chavez against the evils of capitalism, cheered enthusiastically by the way, there was mostly haggling over how certain “poor” countries could legally steal money from the Americans and Europeans under a global agreement.  Even though no agreement was crafted, our own Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton, proposed giving $100 BILLION per year to the cause. Surely this was under the authorization of the White House.  Better keep those Treasury printing presses on.

Now comes the one that may break the camel’s back.

A member of the House of Representatives again raised the desire to grant a “pathway to citizenship,” a pretty name for amnesty, despite multiple millions of real Americans being out of work and no end to the unemployment line in sight.  He actually said it could help us to do that.   But that is not the real evil that is lurking behind immigration “reform.”

The evil is not the loss of more jobs or the cost of covering their medical expenses.  We’re already experiencing that and have been for many years.  The evil will lie in loss of representation.

Imagine that ten to twenty million (or more – who knows?) illegals, by the waving of the Democrats’ magic wand, are deemed to be citizens of the United States. Yes, people who don’t know or care about our culture or identity, don’t speak our language and soon to receive “free” health coverage, welfare and social security benefits will have a huge say in who will represent us in Congress and especially the White House.  All by sneaking over our wide-open borders.  Which party do you suppose a vast majority will vote for? One that encourages personal responsibilty (or used to) or the one that will give them everything they’ve lacked in their home country, plus some?  The likes of the last two nail-biter elections will never be seen again.  My vote will become worthless. We will never be able to overcome that vote deficit. And all by the stroke of a pen.  Representatives won’t listen to us any more on amnesty than they have on the health care debate. Why should they? There will be a Senator prostitute him/herself once in a while for extra goodies, but they have all the votes needed to pass anything they want.  A proud, smiling, and willing World Citizen is in the White House to sign every piece of insidious legislation.

Amnesty will encourage even more immigration from all over the world, further multiplying its effect.  It means we will never be able to elect a conservative President ever again.  To anyone who thinks that sounds ridiculous, I’m open to hearing how you think that can occur, let alone how you think that it will occur. I argue that it cannot. Benjamin Franklin said,” When the people figure out they can vote themselves money, it heralds the end of the Republic.”  It appears we have reached that tipping point. I pray that I’m wrong and that it’s been just the coincidence of several unfortunate events.

And I finally arrive at the premise of the title.  Are we no longer Americans?  Have we become the hollow shell of the Founding Fathers? Are we like the once-proud British who have given up the fight? Succumbing to One World socialist EU rule and Islamic immigration jihad, the nation that one hundred years ago ruled nearly half the planet is on the verge of losing it’s identity forever. 

America is under assault by those same forces, and to be perfectly honest, I thought the UK was a full 10 years ahead of us.  But the events of 2009 indicate we are much closer than we could have ever imagined.  The world (with the help of the likes of George Soros) has us in their sights and are pulling out all the stops to take us down financially, and as the last bastion of freedom and self-determination.   A New World Order cannot allow our belligerence to stand.  We must submit for the world to be an equitable place for all (meaning subsistence for all but the ruling elites).

We have run out of sand.  The line, if it’s to be drawn again, will have to be somewhat final.  The domestic enemy is one step away from controlling our very essence and our lives through both health “reform” and environmental legislation.  We will be forced to weigh the right amount, eat the right food, exercise the right amount, drive the right vehicles, set our thermostats at the right temperature and on ad infinitum or we will be punished.

Does that sound like America?  Is our patriotism all just bluster?   There are millions of dead and wounded that fought for freedom on foreign lands.  We are about to spit in their faces.  Can we look our soldiers in the eye and say we support them when we won’t even step up to the plate with our cowardly representatives? 

Many very wise people are saying that our economy could go south again. How bad does it have to get before things turn ugly?  For those that are dependent on government for their every need, it may not take much once the checks shrink or disappear.  I’ve spoken with several veterans lately and they tell me explicitly that they see what a powder keg we’re living in. I don’t fear our military, current or former. I also don’t fear LOCAL law enforcement.  They are our neighbors and friends.  They want the same things we want: freedom and opportunity for themselves and, more importantly, for their children and grandchildren. Please take time to talk to them.   They also tell me they took an oath to protect and defend the Constitution and all have said they did not recant.  We should stand shoulder to shoulder for our Constitution and our way of life.  We owe them much, much more.

Many months and many crises have gone by since I started this project.  Most of this document is verbatim from the magnificent original.  I encourage you to read through the original declaration and see if the same thoughts come to you as did me.  You will be surprised by the similarity of the grievances we have in common with the founders when they wrote their historic and world-changing document.

The Declaration of Independence II

 When in the course of human events, it becomes necessary for one people to dissolve the political bands which have connected them with another, and to assume among the powers of the earth the separate and equal station to which the laws of nature and nature’s God entitle them, a decent respect to the opinions of mankind requires that they should declare the causes which impel them to the separation. 

We hold these truths to be self-evident: that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights, that among these are the right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.  That to secure these rights, governments are instituted among men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed; that whenever any form of government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the right of the people to alter or abolish it, and to institute new government, laying its foundation as such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their safety and happiness.

 Prudence, indeed, will dictate that governments long established should not be changed for light and transient causes; and accordingly all experience hath shown, that mankind are more disposed to suffer, while evils are sufferable, than to right themselves by abolishing the forms to which they are accustomed.  But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing the same object, evinces a design to reduce them under absolute despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such government, and to provide new guards for their future security.  Such has been the patient sufferance of these colonies; and such is now the necessity which constrains them to alter their former systems of government.

The history of the current and recent Governing Bodies is a history of repeated injuries and usurpations, all having in direct object the establishment of an absolute tyranny.  To prove this, let facts be submitted to a candid world.

You have refused assent to laws, the most wholesome and necessary for the public good.

You have forbidden legislators to pass laws of immediate and pressing importance, such as would allow us to produce energy from our own abundant resources, and secure our shared borders.

You have bought or otherwise coerced others to pass laws for the accommodation of large districts of people, under threat and bribe; a tactic inestimable to tyrants only.

You have brought forth legislation at hours unusual, for expediency, and denied complete understanding of bills debated, for the sole purpose of fatiguing them into compliance with your measures

You have endeavored to populate our lands by ignoring laws for naturalization of foreigners, to encourage migration hither in defiance of the people and our laws, for therein lies a multitude of constituents to extend your power over the people infinitely and indefinitely.

You have obstructed the administration of justice by appointing judges averse to complying with judicial constraints set forth by our Constitution demanding justice be blind.  Justice shall be no respecter of persons. 

You have named judges dependent on your own political whims, placing them in permanent seats to reinterpret that which is obvious.

You have erected a multitude of new offices, and sent hither swarms of officers to harass our people and eat out their substance. The EPA, DHS, FDA, FEMA, BATF, NSA, IRS and any number of other alphabet agencies are an affront to our own personal sovereignties and wealth.

You have combined with others to subject us to a jurisdiction foreign to our constitution, and unacknowledged by our laws; giving your assent to their acts of pretended legislation.  Kyoto, the United Nations, NAFTA, the Organization of American States, World Health Organization and the World Trade Organization, being a few of the egregious entanglements meant to weaken our national sovereignty.

You have quartered large bodies of illegals among us.

You have made excuses for any crimes and murders for which they should commit on any inhabitants of these states; at times persecuting those designated to protect your citizens from those same criminals.

You have blindly opened up our markets to those who don’t reciprocate, nor do they adhere to the stifling regulations imposed upon domestic businesses.

You have imposed taxes on us at every turn, for every activity or inactivity, every product and its method of production.

You have bowed to the pressures of foreign entities to place members of our volunteer armies on criminal trial for doing their sworn duty to protect the citizens and interests of these states.

You have established arbitrary government, expanding your powers so as to render it at once an example and fit instrument for continuing absolute rule over the states, disregarding the Tenth Amendment meant to ensure the sovereignty of the separate states.    

You have chiseled away our most valuable laws and altering fundamentally the forms of our government. The right to own and manage ones own property as he sees fit, the right to criticize government without reproach, and the right to bear arms, are the foundations of a free society.

You have plundered our businesses, land and bank accounts and destroyed the lives of many.

You are blindly allowing large numbers of foreign jihadists to plot works of death and desolation and cruelty scarcely paralleled in the most barbarous ages; totally unworthy as the heads of a civilized state.

You have permitted domestic insurrections amongst us, and have endeavored to bring upon inhabitants the merciless Islamist savages whose known rule of warfare is an undistinguished destruction of all ages, sexes, and conditions.

In every stage of these oppressions we have petitioned for redress in the most humble terms; our repeated petitions have been answered only by repeated injury.  A Congress, whose character is thus marked by every act which may define a tyrant, is unfit to be the rulers of a free people.

Nor have we been wanting in our attention to our elected officials.  We have warned them from time to time of attempts by the legislature to extend an unwarrantable jurisdiction over us.  We have reminded them of the circumstances of our emigration and settlement here.  We have appealed to their native justice and magnanimity, and we have conjured them by the ties of our common kindred to disavow these usurpations, which would inevitably interrupt our connections and correspondence.  They too have been deaf to the voice of justice and of consanguinity.  We must, therefore, acquiesce in the necessity which denounces our separation, and hold them, as we hold the rest of mankind, enemies in war, in peace, friends.

We, therefore, the People of the United States of America, in general congress assembled, appealing to the Supreme Judge of the world for the rectitude of our intentions, do, in the name and by the authority of the good people of these states, solemnly publish and declare, that these united states are, and of right ought to be, free and independent states; that they are absolved from all allegiance to the derelict government, and that all political connection between them and the Federal government is, and ought to be, totally dissolved; and that as free and independent states they have full power to levy war, conclude peace, contract alliances, establish commerce, and to do all other acts and things which independent states may of right to do.  And for the support of this declaration, with a firm reliance on the protection of Divine Providence, we mutually pledge to each other our lives, our fortunes and our sacred honor.

Open letter to the Democrat Party

Since I posted an open letter to the Republican Party last time, I thought it only fair to post an open letter to the Democrat Party.

 I’ve never been a Democrat, so I’m not fully knowledgeable about the inner workings of the party, but I’ve been a political / current events junkie for about 25 years.  I will speak only to what I know.

 What I know is that the only hill your party would die on is the hill of abortion, or as you so affectionately misname it, choice. Nothing else in your party platform is so sacred. That you will defend so vehemently the right to kill human babies is appalling and downright evil.

 What I know is that your concern for the poor is exactly what has kept generations of people in exactly that situation. God was teaching us about ourselves when he said “One who does not work does not eat.” Your party has decided to give the fish, the hammock, cell phone, cable TV and even the house to put it all in.

 What I know is that many in your party won’t take wisdom from God because you hate God. You’ve worked diligently, and successfully I might add, to remove so much of our Christian heritage from public discourse and especially from school curricula.  John Adams said our unique American representative republic was only fit for a moral and religious people.  Your party has been vilifying our Christian heritage for decades while you promote all types of sex sin, rebellion and godlessness. Obviously, that’s why you’re doing your damndest to change it. I’m sure there are moral, though obviously ignorant, people in your ranks, but as a party you are not moral or religious.

 What I know is that you consider yourselves to be modern day Robin Hoods that take from the rich and give to the poor, yet it is well-known that as a percentage, liberals are the least giving. You seem very willing to give someone else’s money but not your own.

 What I know is that you set out to destroy your opponents in any manner necessary to get your agenda in place.  You denigrate everything someone like me feels is good and right while calling me a hate-monger or racist or any number of other names just for doing so.  The attacks are personl not political. You won’t tolerate dissent for long.  Ask Sarah Palin or either of her daughters how personal it is. 

 What I know is that you are quite willing to weaken our national sovereignty to impose global programs through corrupt organizations like the UN.  The passage of your Cap and Trade bill is the most recent example where you are willing to shackle your own citizens for the sake of saving the earth for the rest of the world.

 So as not to pile on, I’ll stop here.  The above reasons are exactly why I’ve never been a Democrat, nor will I ever be one. 

The evils you portray as good are ruining the greatest country ever to exist. You’ve enslaved a large segment of the population and build on that daily by buying votes with my money. Once you enslave them, your power grows. And that’s the end game. Marx would be proud.  

Be it known today that there is a large and growing contingent of Patriots that are prepared to fight you to the end.  You’ll have to take us by force as we will not go quietly.

Open letter to the Republican Party

As this whirlwind, known as the Obama Administration, continues it’s march against most of what typical Americans consider right and good, it’s pathetic to see what the Republicans have offered in return:  silence, whimpers and resignations. 

First Senator Ensign fails to uphold his marital vows and soon after Gov. Mark Sanford has to bow before the public to express his sorrow for the same offense.  Is this really the best we can do?  Newt Gingrich, who’s desperately trying to get out in front and act like he’s leading the fledgling Second American Revolution effort, Bob Livingston, his predecessor, Senator Larry Craig, Senator Bob Packwood, Rudy Giuliani, Mark Foley and Senator David Vitter are the most recent alumni to the scandal fraternity.  Two of those named, Newt and Giuliani, are still considered stalwarts and standard-bearers in the party that used to stand for right and against wrong. 

Am I saying that we’re to be perfect and sinless? No, that’s impossible except for one man and we’re not even close.  The fact that all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God doesn’t mean we shouldn’t hold ourselves to a higher standard.  By and large I believe Republicans do maintain a higher standard as compared to so many shameless Democrats who seem to gain in power for such offenses. But we’re stopping way short of the goal.

Just this evening, pondering as I have so often recently the fate of our country and the soul of the Party I grew up in, I came across this article at World Net Daily written by Dr. Alan Keyes, a former Republican, that sums up my feelings of what went wrong with the Republican Party.  It is entitled Sanford and the GOP: For whom tolls the bell?  

Read it for yourself.  I can’t approach the eloquence necessary to even paraphrase the words of such a statesman. 

The Party adopted the Big Tent strategy and that’s what it gave us – a large canopy full of animal dung.  You say abortion is wrong, but nobody will stand in front of the tank.  With  both houses of Congress and the White House you did nothing to stop the killing of the babies. 

 For millenia marriage has meant the union of one man and one woman yet rare few will speak with conviction against proposals to extend this sacred institution to same sex partners. We’re not asking you to condemn gays, just stand up for what’s right.   Nobody will stand in front of the tank. 

What happened to the party of fiscal responsibility? The last years of the Bush Administration were an abomination.  Adding new entitlements like the Democrats and spending us into the largest deficits on record.  Yes, the Democrats had the House and Senate back due to your ineptitude, but like today you only whimpered, never roared. Nobody stands in front of the tank.

You stood by, and some in leadership (Boehner) even voted for, the TARP bailout, proposed by President Bush as the Federal Government began its take-over of the financial system. 

You stood by whimpering as the new administration took over the auto industry and gave huge amounts of control to the UAW.

Our rights as land owners you’ve allowed to be stripped away piece by piece by not standing against environmental and other illegal federal regulations. Often you’re  co-sponsors. Nobody stands in front of the tank.

Our first, second and tenth amendment rights, arguably the most powerful of the amendments to our truly amazing and God-breathed Constitution are trampled under the feet of bureaucracy and you’ve stood by or marched along.

It makes me furious to read about  the demise of the Republican Party by those on the left, but you, and by complicity we, asked for it.  We were sucked into the lesser of two evils mentality and America is paying the price. Perhaps even all people the world over who long to be free.  Ronald Reagan, the man that so many of you hide behind but aren’t worthy of dusting his shoes, said 

“Freedom is never more than one generation away from extinction. We didn’t pass it to our children through the bloodstream. It must be fought for, protected and handed on for them to do the same, or one day we will spend our sunset years telling our children’s children what it was once like in the United States where men were free.”

Is the final demise of the Party imminent or unavaoidable? At this point many of us in the newly-coined “Liberty Movement” don’t really care.  Prove you’re worth our money and sweat and we’ll fight for you.  Fail us, deceive us or continue to throw us bones in election cycles and we’ll find your replacement.  We’re quickly choosing which hills to die on.  You have a very short time to choose if they coincide with yours.

‘Powers that Be’ Nix Democrat Conyers probe of ACORN

And who might be that power? Perhaps the President himself? 

ACORN, thoroughly immersed in scandal and fraud while annually receiving hundreds of millions in walking around money under the guise of social and economic “justice,”   is one of his favorite entities. Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now – the ultimate Organized Community for which the Prez is indebted to for their huge impact on his election.

This organization uses  tax dollars to feed it’s ever-growing lust for more of our tax dollars.  Only during this past election had we even heard of this organization.  Where are the watchdogs of good government?  Where were the hapless Republicans all these years that they allowed such a corrupt organization to receive so much tax money?  This is “machine politics” at it’s finest – perfectly suited for a thug politician from Chicago.  I’m sure any critic that stood in their way would be deemed a racist and their reputations smashed. 

ACORN’s sole existence is to buy votes with our money in order to get more money to buy more votes.  This has to stop, but lo, “the powers that be” say “leave it alone.” Or else?  Now the corrupt organization is set to do the census in 2010. The census drives the apportionment of funds to the states. What kind of dirty tricks do they have up their sleeves for this?

For a look into ACORN’s attitude toward America, here’s a quote off the front page of an allied organization, social policy.org (emphasis mine) –“SOCIAL POLICY asks what is to be done to secure basic structural changes in American society. Its pages will provide a meeting ground — and battleground — where ideas, tactics and strategies for radical reconstruction of American institutions can be expressed and exchanged, tested and debated, expanded and deepened.”  

Read that again. Guess whose mug is prominently on the cover? You guessed it – the Community Organizer -in-chief.

Who stopped the inquiry is a question that needs to be answered. In the meantime, with 14 lawsuits against them, it’s time to at least temporarily pull the funding plug on ACORN.

Here are excerpts from the story in the Washington Times: emphasis mine

House Judiciary Committee Chairman John Conyers Jr. has backed off his plan to investigate purported wrongdoing by the liberal activist group ACORN, saying ?powers that be? put the kibosh on the idea.

Mr. Conyers, Michigan Democrat, earlier bucked his party leaders by calling for hearings on accusations the Association of Community Organization for Reform Now (ACORN) has committed crimes ranging from voter fraud to a mob-style “protection” racket. (True Chicago style)

“The powers that be decided against it,” Mr. Conyers told The Washington Times as he left the House chambers Wednesday.

“Chairman Conyers has a responsibility to explain who is blocking this investigation, and why. Is it Speaker Pelosi? Others in the Democratic leadership? Who in Congress is covering up ACORN’s corruption?” said Michael Steel, spokesman for House Minority Leader John A. Boehner, Ohio Republican.

Capitol Hill had bristled at the prospect of hearings because it threatened to rekindle criticism of the financial ties and close cooperation between President Obama’s campaign and ACORN and its sister organizations Citizens Services Inc. and Project Vote.

ACORN and its affiliates are currently the target of at least 14 lawsuits related to voter fraud in the 2008 election and a Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations (RICO) Act complaint filed by former ACORN members.

ACORN also provided liberal causes with protest-for-hire services and coerced donations from targets of demonstrations through a shakedown it called the “muscle for the money” program, said Ms. Heidelbaugh, a member of the executive board of the Republican National Lawyers Association.

California failure – the look of America under Obama

I posted months ago on the direction of America and how it is so similar to that of our largest failed state – California.

Here’s the bulk of it for those loathe to click on the link.

The “progressive” state is facing a budgetary shortfall of $42 BILLION this fiscal year and is just about out of cash to pay for employees and services.  But before we write this off as their problem, we all need think about what got California in the mess they’re in.  And more importantly, as it relates to the road the new administration is rapidly taking the rest of us down.

States are required to balance their budgets. Why the Feds are not required, well, ask your Senators and Representatives.  Good luck with that.  Since states have to balance, there are ebbs and flows of surplus and deficit and the governors that do it right put money away for the rainy days.

California is not one of those.  The nation’s largest state prefers to spend and expand when times are good. Then when the money slows they cry out in distress.  There needs to be “sacrifice” by the people and not from the government itself. 

What is California currently doing? They are shortening work weeks for government employees.  They are talking about raising taxes and they issued an IOU for tax refunds that were to be going out about now.  Oh, and I left out the most insidious and infuriating part, they’re asking for a bailout.  Don’t think the leftists/socialists in Congress don’t know the value of California’s electoral votes.  They’re too big to fail.

California, known for their care for the illegals and indigents with free education and health care, housing subsidies, their severe environmental regulations and high tax rates is a microcosm of the Obama plan.

Amnesty/ immigration reform and all the costs involved in giving 12-20 million people welfare, housing and food allowances is a large piece of the puzzle.  Universal health care is another. The liberals/ progressives / socialists are building their base for eternal power to cement America’s wheels on the road of socialism, which left unfettered, leads to communism. The same goes with the “disenfranchised” in the sprawling cities.  The more you offer, the more people take.  The more you give, the more votes you receive.  It is a dangerous cycle and America is in it big time!

Since the Feds don’t have to balance their budget, with a crisis at hand, they will spend whatever they have to make sure everyone is taken care of.  Fine, deluded and evil as it is.  What happens when the value of the dollar the Fed is printing at an unprecedented pace collapses and it now takes two dollars to sustain the programs instead of one?  Print it faster? To the typical Obama that may seem like an option.  To thinkers, we know that’s a bad thing for all of us.

Since they can’t print money ad infinitum to keep up, there will have to be cutbacks.  With millions of new recipients receiving federal money, “free” health care, and more that means a larger pool of disgruntled constituents.  They have been promised this money.  The money that we have will buy less and less, so the poorest, whom this whole scheme is purported to help, will be hit the hardest. 

Sadly, we are not the same people we were a hundred years ago, or even 75 years ago.  What will happen when those that have never had to work hard to earn what they have don’t get what they’re expecting?  On the other hand, what will be the reaction of the people who work hard, pay their bills and live responsibly have more-to-most of their money taken away to pay for all this?  A scary scenario indeed.

California – The state that begs illegals and indigents to come partake of their largesse;  the state that practically brags about having the most stringent environmental regulations; the state more than happy to give a legal vote to anything that moves;  the state that has some of the highest tax rates in the country; the state that’s losing more people to other states than any other; the state that embraces every type of morally deviant behavior. 

California’s too big to fail, what with all their Democrat electoral votes and potential illegal immigrant votes once comprehensive immigration reform has been implemented.  Sounds a lot like all the others we’ve bailed out – the irresponsible – “underwater” homeowners, over-leveraged banks, legacy laden auto manufacturers and coming soon – the mouthpiece of the Marxist asault on America, Big Newspaper.

The “green” state has gone RED!  Too bad it’s only the color of the ink in their budget.

Tampa baby death shouldn’t be all that tragic…

…to the pro-abortion crowd.

To normal people, this is a horrific and tragic event that is worthy of the news it will surely generate, but I contend that those who agree with abortion, especially late-term abortions, really have no reason to feel this way. 

Some will say, “But this was a was 4 month old. This is different.” The age of the child is irrelevant. What if the child were 2 weeks old and was born 4 weeks premature?  It shouldn’t have been born yet. Had the mother chosen to abort the baby, all the way up to its time of birth, it would have been legal and the girl would have exercised her right to terminate an unwanted pregnancy – possibly even celebrated as a victory for womens’ rights. After 50 million+ abortions, this is not news – a huge tragedy – but not news.

 This is precisely why they shouldn’t be too torn over this baby’s death.  It’s hypocrisy or ignorance that justifies this line of thinking.

Pardon me for being a bit gruesome here, but tell me the difference between a child killed by being thrown from a car and one torn limb by limb from the Mother’s womb and tossed in a garbage can.  They are both the willful killing of a human baby. Try as some will to assuage their consciences by renaming the event, the truth remains – there is very little difference.  The only difference in this instance is that the mother may not have consented.  (Indeed, as normal people we should pray for her in her truly tragic loss.) The fact of the matter is that a baby was intentionally killed. BOTH should be headline stories, but sadly only one is.

To make things more surreal, many of the supporters of abortion, like one of my own neighbors, are opposed to the death penalty!   It’s OK to kill a totally innocent baby in a “doctor’s” office, yet to put to death the dirtbag who throws one out into traffic is unacceptable.   They fight for the death of the innocent and for the life of the guilty. That is insanity or the working of a reprobate mind. 

As our civilization spirals ever downward because the “enlightened” have worked tirelessly to remove “religion” from schools and the the public square and have denigrated those of us who profess a belief in God, right and wrong, good and evil, this should surprise no one.  God doesn’t deal in moral relativity. As Isaiah 5:2o says, “Woe to them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!”

TAMPA – Tampa police arrested the suspect in the kidnapping and death of a 4-month-old child this morning.

According to the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to a domestic violence call at the Mirabella Apartments in the 12400 block of 15th Street North in Tampa around 3:15 a.m.

The 17-year-old mother said her ex-boyfriend beat her and threw her infant son down on the concrete, then took off with the child.

Deputies were in the process of trying to issue an Amber Alert when a FOX 13 photographer found the baby along the side of the road in the southbound lanes of I-275 at Fowler Avenue around 4 a.m..

“On the side of the road, I saw something out of the corner of my eye and at first I thought it was a baby doll and then as I was thinking about it more, I thought that was awfully big for a doll,” Jason Bird said. 

Bird, who was on his way to work, turned around and went back.

“It’s kind of morbid, but I mean I could tell that it was dead, it was laying there with its eyes open and I couldn’t look at it,” Bird said.  “It freaked me out, but fortunately law enforcement came right away.

At least we (those who have knowledge of and hope in the next life) know this child is in a better place. God grant peace to the mother and family of the precious one you created. Amen

If you must assert your right to die, find the nearest tall bridge…

..and leave our doctors out of it.   Can’t we be responsible for anything anymore?

From World Net Daily. Montana judge’s decision may require physicians to kill patients requesting such “services” even if against the Hippocratic oath, their conscience, or their religion.

The arogant and spiteful progressives / “liberals” continue to mock our consciences and our belief in something beyond what we see with our eyes.  Their absolute disdain for people of faith is frightening and they are getting more and more bold.

There are plenty of  evil doctors willing to rip babies apart up to the time of birth, let them do it. To force a dissenting physician is beyond unconscionable.  There is much more to this than the obvious over-stepping of judicial authority. These people are NOT required to stay with any doctor if they aren’t receiving the care they expect. Isn’t that the way it used to be? Univeral health care may just be the “cure” for such poor business practice.  

We are being bombarded with moral relativism, or rather moral equivalence, of every type of behavior.  The desire is to relegate us to our churches or little enclaves and  to keep our views out of public spaces.   

The progressives / socialists / Marxist s have to eliminate religion from the masses in order for it to be fully implemented. Remember the failed Soviet Union?   Religion was all but non-existent, at least in public.  A minimal search of Marx, Lenin or any other true socialist will give you a good glimpse of where all this is taking us – and by design.  The writing is on the wall (oops – a biblical reference). Are you reading it?

The case has attracted nominal attention nationwide, but lawyers with the Christian Legal Service have filed a friend-of-the-court brief in the pending case because of what it would mean to doctors within the state, as well as the precedent it would set.

The concern is over the attack on doctors’ ethics and religious beliefs – as well as the Hippocratic oath – that may be violated by a demand that they prescribe deadly chemicals or in some other way assist in a person’s death.

Montana’s situation, created late last year in a decision from First District Court Judge Dorothy McCarter in the Baxter et al. v. Montana case, is different. There is no provision for a doctor to refuse such “treatment” for a patient.

Just how did America arrive at a court case ordering doctors to help a suicide? Read it in “The Marketing of Evil: How Radicals, Elitists, and Pseudo-Experts Sell Us Corruption Disguised as Freedom”

In that case, Robert Baxter, 75, a retired truck driver from Billings who suffers from lymphocytic leukemia, filed the lawsuit along with four physicians in the state’s district court system. They were aided in the case by the assisted suicide advocacy group Compassion & Choices, formerly known as the Hemlock Society.

Baxter told the organization’s magazine that society already provides death when animals are suffering.

“I just feel if we can do it for animals,” Baxter said, “we can do it for human beings.”

The CLS, joined by the Christian Medical Association, yesterday filed briefs asking the state Supreme Court to protect the conscience rights of healthcare professionals.

The groups, representing more than 18,000 Christian medical and legal professions, are urging the court to reverse the district court’s decision and recognize a right not to participate in assisted suicide.

“The trial court’s decision to create a constitutional right to ‘obtain assistance from a medical care provider in the form of obtaining a prescription for lethal drugs’ threatens the rights of healthcare professionals and institutions that hold sincere ethical, moral, and religious objections to participating in the intentional killing of their patients,” Mattox said.

“Medical professionals should not be coerced to violate the Hippocratic Oath in order to practice in Montana,” he said.

If a “right to die” is to be recognized, it should be developed from the people through the legislative process, not imposed by a single judge, the brief also argues.

The district decision, the groups also point out,  would seriously undermine the relationship between doctors and patients. Patients could be uncomfortable knowing their doctor had provided a lethal dose to another patient, and doctors would have concerns about such demands from patients.

“At a time when states are experiencing a healthcare shortage, making Montana the only state in the union to coerce professionals to assist in suicides could jeopardize the state’s healthcare system,” Mattox said.

He told WND that the effort clearly is part of a nationwide agenda to impose and mandate ethical standards on Americans. Similar are the Obama administration’s suggestions that that pharmacists may not have the right to refuse to dispense abortion-inducing medications, and doctors may not have a conscience right to refuse to do abortions, he said.

“I don’t know where it’s coming from, but there is certainly a push from government to tell people to set aside religious or ethical qualms and to abide by whatever the government tells you is appropriate,” he said.

Mattox said the state still has several weeks to file its briefs in the Montana case, and then there will be further arguments on behalf of requiring doctors to provide terminal treatment.

“A mentally competent, terminally ill Montanan should have the right to choose a peaceful death, when confronted by death,” Kathryn Tucker, Compassion & Choices director of legal affairs, told KTVQ-TV, Billings.

But Montana Assistant Attorney General Anthony Johnston disagrees.

Johnston told the television station, “The laws governing the medical profession say the medical profession is to heal, not to kill.”

Good riddance, Senator Specter. Snowe and Collins – care to join him?

We will weep nary a tear for his departure. The Left will tout it as a coup, but we rejoice that one of the “placeholders” is gone.  He was a RINO through and through.  The big tent really did us wonders, didn’t it? That whole marketing plan was a disaster since it just diluted the message.  I personally never signed onto it. 

I hope Rick Santorum learned his lesson. I have to say I lost a LOT of respect for Rick when he backed the odious Specter over Toomey in the last primary. When the Republicans thought it better to retain seats rather than to maintain principles, that’s when their party was over. 

The bleeding continues as it appears the elitist Republicans think this is a terrible loss – one step closer to giving the Dems the coveted filibuster-proof majority. Did it really matter?  Specter, Snowe, Collins, Lugar and even my own belatedly retiring  Voinovich can usually be counted on to side with the lockstep Dems to forward THEIR agenda.  Bi-partisanship is a one-way street in DC and the inept Rs travel that road enough to make a rut in it. Losers.

The Tea Parties, of which I am a vehement supporter, are the warning shot to the Rs to listen to us or get out of the way.  We will find those that actually adhere to conservative principles beyond personal gain.
