This is who we’re up against – HuffPo readers assessment of Dobson and Focus on the Family

Posted by foundersfreedom on February 28, 2009

Know your enemy.
Feel the love and tolerance: from those wonderful people at
HuffPo.  Just cut and pasted.  These are only from the first 2 pages.  Most were incoherent, unreasoned bashings, but here are a few that caught my attention.

Enjoy!

“Well the rapid dog is getting ready to be put down! It is shameful how he and his ilk have played a politics of fear, judgment, and division. I truly hope there is a very special place in Hell for him. Better yet, I hope he comes back as a sexually-confused drag queen and has flash backs of the damage he caused in this life. Can you image how many gay and lesbian teens committed suicide because of his “teachings?”

Tolerant people are necessarily intolerant of intolerance as exemplified by the religious right.

Well the rapid dog is getting ready to be put down! It is shameful how he and his ilk have played a politics of fear, judgment, and division. An organization whose finances should be looked at, a good deal more closely.

I wish that he would just go away. I have found that people are sheep; Dobson had that father like reassuring voice just listen to me and everything will be alright. Adolf Hitler ,Jim Jones, Rush Limbaugh are the same way; think for people who can not think for themselves. There will be another Neo Con to take his place. Quickly

Focus on the Family depends completely on scamming the same gullible fools who vote for Rethuglican right wing whackos, who then proceeded to utterly destroy them economically. Dobson’s source of income is tapped out. Ted Haggard (whose forner church is just a couple miles from FOTF)is selling life insurance fer crissakes.

Guaranteed, Dobson is just another rat jumping off the faith based ship before it sinks.

I live in Colorado Springs about 10 miles from FOTF…..it’s a gigantic obscene monument to religious extremism. The conservatives who run the city even put FOTF on the interstate highway exit sign, like it’s some kind of religious whacko Disneyland.

We hope they go out of business so we can turn their lovely campus into a really sweet shelter for the local homeless. God knows FOTF has never lifted a Christian finger to help them….way too busy cranking out pro-Bush propaganda the last eight years.

I’m just waiting for Dobson to follow Falwell…if you know what I mean..

Of course these guys are all about $$$$

These groups have bundling arms, where small donations from membership are bundled together to make substantial political contributions to the RNC. They are really the only large donor base the GOP has left, as they lost business owners and the bankers.

Focus on the Wealthy White Heterosexual Christian Family does not speak for me or anyone I know. Society in general is moving away from these people. Humanity needs to progress, not to deny evolution and history.

Don’t get too excited kids …. I am sure there is another hate laced extremist just waiting to take his place.”

Other than to know my enemy I really hate going over there. And they say we’re mean-spirited.  We don’t hold a candle to these people. But God loves them, too, so I guess we have to pray for them. We, in direct opposition to some (many ?) at HuffPo, don’t want ANYONE to go to Hell.

Wow, this writer at HuffPo is a really sick puppy…
You know it always amazes me how intolerant the liberals are.

My daughter is a liberal. When I disagree with her, the converstaion is over, invariably. Frustrates the heck out of me.
Most of these folks are like that.

Bitter, mean, vindictive–they give new meaning to the word “vile”.

  7. Rick, these were from several, not just one. THAT”S the sad part.
Each line/paragraph was from a different commenter. The hatred for Dobson was astounding. That was from only about 20 or so from the first two pages. Vile, indeed.
